About
Link offers university admissions teams numerous opportunities to sit down and engage with diverse student communities who in turn become applicants and ambassadors for their institution. Much more personal than a College Fair and more effective than individual school appointments, Link helps a university’s message connect directly with new, excited audiences of decision makers looking for competitive alternatives to top universities in their home country, the Ivy League or Oxbridge. The Link Program’s mission: A) to entice international students of high merit to expand their wish lists beyond the Ivy League and/or Oxbridge B) to hear directly and inspiringly from the university representatives face-to-face C) to work together with a regionally known school host – easy for other schools in the area to reach and feel comfortable taking part. D) to break away from the generic College Fair model Many students, families, and school teams are unaware of how rankings are made, or of what else exists in the elite category of global universities beyond Harvard or Oxford. We make it our mission to broaden that scope of knowledge and cross-cultural interaction to break down those preconceived notions. It is for the benefit of diverse audiences that we do this, because if more people from more countries and regions around the world knew each other, it would be a better world. For two years in London we ran this program and amazed universities with the number of “diverse students” sitting in English classrooms. Countries like England, Switzerland, and Germany are melting pots of people from every part of the world. The Link Program allows universities and colleges to build ties with high quality schools across Europe, institutions that adequately prepare students for the rigors of a top-tier tertiary education. Only universities pay to participate in this program. Previously attending universities include Florida State, IIT, Notre Dame, Arizona, Pepperdine, and beyond.
